For breakfast, you'll eat country ham or local sausage made right in this county. (No microwave breakfast is served here.) You'll go downtown to visit the local merchants. You'll meet the small-town folk who stop by to pass the time of day. You may go to church, or meet the preacher when he stops by to swap a story or two. The Innkeepers will be sure you find what you need -- a horse-back ride, a game of golf, a long walk in the country. We also offer consolation, advice, and rest for the weary road warrior. Once a young man asked Miss Ann to help him resolve "an affair of the heart." Visitors who are thinking of moving to a small town want Miss Helen to identify local families and interesting personalities.
